The Woods Tea Co. - Saturday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. The Wood's Tea Company is a musical group that defies categorization. They perform bluegrass, Celtic tunes, sea chanties and folk songs with equal ease and skill. In concert, the Vermont-based group draws on a wide variety of musical experience and expression. They employ as many as a dozen different instruments including banjos, bezoukis and bodhrans, guitars and tin whistles.

The Miracle Worker - Pacifica Spindrift Players present The Miracle Worker by William Gibson, directed by Kevin Wm. Meyers. This stirring dramatization of the story of Helen Keller is one of the most successful and warmly admired plays of the modern theatre. Skyline Concert Choir - The choir welcomes new members. Under the direction of conductor/composer Jude Navari, the Choir draws its members from the Skyline College student and staff and from members of the surrounding communities, including Pacifica. The group sings a variety of music from small, a cappella pieces, to major works for choir and orchestra. Rehearsals are Tuesday nights. Seaside Singers - Spring is around the corner and the Seaside Singers are starting new music for the season. Needlework Mysteries Unraveled - (Fourth Tuesday of the Month) - The San Mateo Area Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America invites you to join them in participating and learning about all types of needlework from Blackwork to Stumpwork and of course, cross-stitch and needlepoint. Pacifica Gardens - meets Saturdays, February to October 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 830 Rosita Road, behind Linda Mar Education Center. Saturdays between February and October are workdays at Pacifica Gardens, a biointensive sustainable cooperative gardening project in the heart of Pacifica. Our community organization is transforming an old soccer field into a mini-agricultural project on land generously leased by the Pacifica School District. Our mission is to Educate, Cultivate, and Inspire. Pacifica Gardens, a project of Pacifica's Environmental Family, currently has 25 vegetable beds, four native plant/herb beds, two flower beds and 19 fruit trees. In addition, our talented and resourceful volunteers reassembled a donated greenhouse and built eight composters from reclaimed lumber last season. Everyone is welcome.
