Absolute Poker s Liv Boeree to Host Poker School at Comms
UK poker personality Liv Boeree set to run poker school at 2-day communications industry event in the UK.
If there was ever any doubt of online poker s penetration into the mainstream corporate world, an appearance by Liv Boeree, Absolute Poker s UK ambassador, at a major European communications event should crush that doubt.
Comms Solutions 2008 takes place at Wembley Stadium on April 16th and 17th. The event is aimed at resellers providing voice, data, mobility and converged ICT solutions to the SME/Mid-Market business community.
A highlight of this year s 2-day event is the Absolute Poker School with Liv Boeree. Liv will be offering 15-minute lessons and a wealth of insight each hour to delegates looking to enhance their poker skills.
Liv began her poker career on the television series UltimatePoker.com Showdown in August 2005. There, she learned some valuable tips from Annie Duke, one of the poker world s best female players.
In a little over two years, she has amassed more than 11 top-10 finishes in Texas Hold em tournaments across London including four first place wins. In the past several months, Live Boeree has won seats in two major tournaments including the Five Diamond Classic WPT in Vegas and Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Brighton. Most recently, she came 7th in the Welsh Amateur Championships.
