I HAD a real taste of 'fight week' today when I arrived at the Planet Hollywood Hotel on the Strip to kick off the media events for my showdown with Bernard Hopkins.
It was fantastic to see so many British fans out here already the cheers I got when I made my entrance to the hotel made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
Knowing that so many people have made the trip from the UK to cheer me on is a massive boost.
But I got a shock when I saw the blackjack tables in the casino as they were plastered with images of me and Hopkins from the fight poster.
There are slot machines branded with the Battle of the Planet fight theme and even the key cards for your room display a copy of our poster.
I've already had a word with Planet Hollywood owner Robert Earl to see if I can have one of the blackjack tables for my games room and he said yes.
It will be something to show the grandkids but I don't think I'm going to let my old man have a go on it!
I also had a taste of the Hollywood film star treatment when I placed my fist in wet clay. I felt like Al Pacino for a while!
He likes to think he's a bit of a professional when it comes to cards and he's taken loads of money off the rest of the boys at our evening poker sessions at our villa.
I'll be staying there until the fight, although I was sorely tempted to move into my hotel room when I held an impromptu Press conference there for the British media.
My suite is like something out of the movies, with a pool table, a walk-in shower that's the size of my bathroom at home, sculptures everywhere and about a dozen plasma TV screens.
The only thing that's missing is a bowling alley apparently there's one in the presidential suite, so next time I'm here I'm going to pretend my name is George W Bush!
Hopkins turned up shortly after me and made his usual noises about 'executing' me on Saturday night. But I didn't hang around to see him what's the point?
I've got to sit and listen to all his c**p at the Press conference on Wednesday. And believe me, five minutes of Ol' Popkins is five minutes too long.
